Job Description
Develop comprehensive financial strategies tailored to the unique market landscape of UAE and GCC, focusing on maximizing profitability and growth.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with both local regulations and international financial reporting standards.
Manage cash flow and liquidity to optimize investments and operational needs, while maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
Conduct thorough financial risk assessments and implement effective strategies to mitigate potential risks in a dynamic market environment.
Supervise the finance team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the department.
Evaluate financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management to drive strategic decision-making.
Implement and enhance financial controls, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Act as a liaison with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process and addressing any financial discrepancies proactively.
Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes, adapting financial strategies accordingly to maintain competitive advantage.
Collaborate closely with the CFO to deliver Finance goals for the team and company.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; ICWA qualification will be an added advantage.
Professional certifications such as ICWA or CA are highly desirable, demonstrating expertise in financial management.
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance management, preferably within a manufacturing environment; Candidates from manufacturing environments such as automotive, electronics, sugar industry, or pharma will have an edge for this role.
Experience in multinational corporations or fast-paced industries, providing a diverse financial perspective.
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an advantage, enhancing communication with stakeholders.
Demonstrated proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, for streamlined reporting.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Strong leadership abilities to inspire and manage a finance team towards achieving departmental goals.
