Job Overview:

Metropolitan Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and analysis. The role involves overseeing financial planning, risk management, process improvement, and management reporting automation. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior management to inform business decisions and contribute to the company's overall financial strategy.

What You Will Do:

  1. Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets and update forecasts on a regular basis. Work with department heads to gather information and ensure budget alignment. Identify areas for cost optimization and operational efficiencies.
  2. Financial Analysis: Develop, implement, and manage financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. Prepare detailed management financial reports, including weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  3. Internal Controls & Compliance: Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain control over financial activities.
  4. Management Reporting Automation: Participate in or lead current management reporting automation.
  5. Process Analysis and Improvement: Assess and document current business processes and workflows to identify areas of improvement and inefficiency. Develop and recommend solutions to streamline and enhance business processes. Implement best practices and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  6. Strategic Collaboration: Cooperate with senior leadership in strategic decision-making by providing financial data, analysis, and recommendations.

What We Are Looking For:

  1. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) is a plus.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a financial management role or equivalent experience.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial and ERP software (e.g., 1C is preferable, SAP, Oracle, etc), advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial analysis tools. Proficiency in Excel complicated formulas, PIVOTs, macros.
  4. Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial reporting process and standards, accounting principles.
  5. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  6. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

  1. Knowledge of real estate industry operations and best practices.
  2. Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  3. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
