Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Summary:
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial operations within GBMD, ensuring financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management align with the company’s strategic goals. This role involves managing financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial compliance while supporting business decision-making through financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Reporting:
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and forecasts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and the group CFO.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
2. Accounting & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate tax regulations, and other applicable financial laws.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
Work closely with external auditors to ensure smooth and timely audit processes.
Maintain accurate financial records and implement best practices in accounting procedures.
3. Treasury & Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
Manage banking relationships and optimize financing strategies.
Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
4. Cost Control & Profitability Analysis:
Implement cost-control measures and improve financial efficiency.
Analyze pricing, margins, and profitability for various business segments.
Support the business team in evaluating investment opportunities and strategic initiatives.
5. Financial Systems & Process Improvement:
Lead financial automation and ERP system enhancements for efficiency.
Establish strong internal controls to mitigate financial risks and fraud.
Continuously improve financial policies and procedures.
6. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Manage and mentor the finance team to enhance performance and capabilities.
Collaborate with sales, logistics, and operations teams to optimize financial outcomes.
Act as the financial business partner to support strategic decision-making.
