Finance Manager

As the Finance Manager, you will oversee the company’s financial planning, forecasting, and bookkeeping processes. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the financial health of the business and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making. This role is critical not only in maintaining financial health but also in directly contributing to our growth strategy, shaping investment decisions, and optimizing financial performance across all aspects of our operations. Experience in the gaming industry is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial plans and budgets aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
• Prepare accurate forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and variance analyses.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Review and assess the investment potential of potential gaming investments, utilizing analytical tools such as market research, financial modeling, and risk assessment to evaluate project viability.
• Advise senior management on the pros and cons of investing in various gaming projects, considering their financial, strategic, and market potential.
• Collaborate with the product development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure financial resources are optimally allocated and aligned with key business priorities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and filings.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Stay updated on gaming industry trends and their financial implications.
• Utilize data-driven insights and KPIs to drive decisions related to financial investments, project viability, and performance optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting, and bookkeeping.
• Prior experience in the gaming industry or a similar tech-driven field is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Dynamics 365, Fireblocks, QuickBooks, Excel (Power BI is advantageous).
• Prior experience with financial models specific to the gaming industry, such as in-game monetization, subscription models, and virtual economies, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
