Finance Manager

Oil & Energy company based in Dubai is looking for a Finance Manager. This is an urgent requirement for a Finance Manager to join their operations in Dubai. This is a permanent opportunity offering an excellent TAX FREE PACKAGE plus benefits! The client is looking for candidates who come from the Oil & Gas, Utilities, or Power industry.

The general purpose of this role is to review: The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all legal/tax compliance within the legal entities, ensuring optimized capital structure, intercompany charges, and internal training regarding the company's legal structure. This role will therefore work closely and maintain ongoing communication and support with Legal Entity Controllers and Accountants in the divisions, including Financial Reporting and Business Controls teams. In addition, the incumbent will also engage with internal and external auditors.

The key responsibilities for the Finance Manager are:

1. Quality review of balance sheet reconciliations for all legal entities.
2. Manage Intercompany and Fixed Asset process globally.
3. Experience working in an international company, having dealt with different regions (especially in the western part of the world).

4-5 years of experience as a senior/chief accountant (or equivalent) and then 2-3 years of accounting manager experience. This position is a good stepping stone for someone who is intelligent and driven and will be ready for the next step in his/her career (maybe director level in the next few years).

Candidate must be flexible, mobile, and ready to move immediately if needed. This also gives the candidate a chance to develop in Seadrill.

The ideal Candidate will be a Western Expatriate and have experience of working in the Western World.
