Job description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the Investment Division of our client to support financial planning, reporting, and governance across investment activities, joint ventures, and corporate finance operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial accounting, IFRS compliance, budgeting, and risk assessment, playing a key role in ensuring strong financial controls and supporting strategic decision-making.

This role is for our large semi-government conglomerate client based in Dubai, one of the region’s leading companies and is a 3-month extendable contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance analysis.
  • Support financial planning for investment entities and business units.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in optimizing working capital strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and governance framework.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and support mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in managing external and internal audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of transactions, including joint ventures and restructuring.
  • Support financial due diligence and feasibility assessments for new projects.
  • Provide financial insights to assess the health of investment entities.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including legal, tax, and operations, to provide financial insights.
  • Assist in preparing financial presentations and reports for senior management.
  • Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CA, CPA, or CFA) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, financial reporting, or business planning, preferably in a large diversified group, investment firm, or real estate sector.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, financial controls, and risk management.
  • Experience in a Big 4 firm or a leading corporate finance environment is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present financial data to stakeholders.
