Finance Manager

• Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Develop financial forecasts and budgets based on strategic goals and historical data.
• Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Perform feasibility studies from scratch without end-user input.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee and manage all tax activities, including compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Risk Management:
• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Strategic Planning and Decision Support:
• Provide strategic financial advice and support to senior management in decision-making processes.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation strategies.
• Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with other departments (such as operations, sales, and marketing) to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure staff training and development to enhance capabilities and performance.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A Master’s degree (MBA, MSc) may be preferred or required for senior positions.

· Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) may be advantageous.

Experience:

• Requires several years of progressive experience in financial management or accounting roles within the UAE, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic decision-making.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
