Our Client, a Global Retail Business is hiring a Finance Director to spearhead their operations in the Middle East - this position is based in Dubai.

Description

1. Ensure that all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements are met.
2. Business partner effectively with other departments and with the Board to ensure that the control standards are met.
3. Adhere to governance standards and safeguard existing investments.
4. Assess the financial risks of potential new investment opportunities and recommend solutions.
5. Manage a team to meet the legal and tax requirements.
6. Develop and update financial and IT procedures to align with the corporate strategy of the company.
7. Manage cash flow effectively.
8. Develop and train a team of direct and indirect reports.

Profile

1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance or related; professional Accounting qualification such as ACA, CIMA etc. is a huge advantage.
2. Experience in a people management role within a Global Multinational is a MUST.
3. Experience in Retail industry or Distributor-led industry is an added advantage.
