Finance Director

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the FP&A function, providing strategic financial planning and analysis to support business decisions.
2. Develop, implement, and manage financial models and forecasts to drive company performance.
3. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting:
1. Oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
2. Collaborate with department heads to prepare and manage budgets.
3. Provide regular updates and reforecasts based on business performance and market conditions.
5. Dashboards and Reporting:
1. Design and maintain comprehensive financial dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
2. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the executive team and board of directors.
3. Develop and present financial reports, analyses, and recommendations to senior management.
6. Operational Knowledge:
1. Work closely with operations teams to understand and analyze the financial impact of operational decisions.
2. Provide financial insights and support to drive operational efficiency and cost management.
3. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to optimize business processes and performance.
7. KPI Management:
1. Identify and track key financial and operational KPIs to measure business performance.
2. Implement performance management systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
3. Regularly review and adjust KPIs to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with business goals.
8. Transformation and Change Management:
1. Lead financial transformation initiatives to streamline processes and enhance financial performance.
2. Support organizational change by providing financial insights and guidance during transitions.
3. Drive the implementation of new financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
9. Reporting and Compliance:
1. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
2. Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
3. Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the FMCG sector.
3. FP&A Expertise: Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and tools, advanced Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems.
5. Operational Acumen: Strong understanding of FMCG operations and their financial implications.
6. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
7. Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
8. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
9. Transformation Experience: Experience in leading financial transformation projects and change management.
