Director of Finance

Our client, a leading hospitality firm in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to join their team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in setting up their finance department and team from the ground up, ensuring robust financial management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish the finance department, including developing policies, procedures, and systems.
• Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing finance team.
• Implement financial software and tools to streamline operations and reporting.
• Oversee all financial aspects of pre-opening activities for new properties.
• Develop detailed pre-opening budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a similar senior financial management role within the hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated pre-opening experience for new hospitality properties.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial software.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
