Finance Director

Job Summary: The Finance Director will oversee the financial operations of the hospital, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, and the management of financial risks to support the hospital’s mission of providing high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the hospital’s budget. Monitor financial performance against the budget and provide variance analysis.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making. Provide insights on cost management, revenue enhancement, and financial performance.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations. Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the hospital’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the hospital’s goals.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the hospital’s assets.

Qualifications:

• Experience: more than 15 years of experience with 5 or more experience in Director or CFO position. UAE experience is a MUST
• Education: Master’s in finance & accounting or other relevant accounting certifications from accredited bodies such as CA, ACCA, CPA
• Revenue Cycle management experience is must
