Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the overall objectives of the organization.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to provide insights to the senior management team.
- Manage cash flow, financial planning, and investment strategies to ensure the financial health of the organization.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance and report variances to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Collaborate with other department heads to support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as investors, lenders, and auditors.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in finance to continuously improve financial processes and systems.
- Present financial information to the board of directors and provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or director-level position.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
