Finance Data and Systems Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Data and Systems Analyst to support financial decision-making through data analysis, system improvements, and reporting automation. This role will work closely with finance, IT, and business units to ensure accurate data management, streamline processes, and enhance financial system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze financial data to provide insights that support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
2. Maintain and improve financial systems, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business requirements.
3. Develop and automate financial reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
4. Support month-end and year-end closing activities by validating data accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
5. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement system upgrades or enhancements.
6. Train users on financial systems and reporting tools.
7. Ensure compliance with data governance and internal control standards.
8. Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution to stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in financial data analysis and system support.
3. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial ERP systems.
4. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
6. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
7. Familiarity with financial regulations and reporting standards is a plus.
