In this role, you will be responsible for leading the financial and operating performance for the division, including planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control.
Responsibilities:
Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections pertaining to the Business Division.
Generate Divisional Profitability Summary, comparing with the budget and working out the trends and variance analysis.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Provide support in Working Capital management, including monitoring of receivables.
Participate in periodic audits and recommend procedural improvements.
Reconcile Division's Accounts and Financial statements in consultation with Central Finance.
Forecast P&L by identifying upfront drivers of gross contribution, expenses, and provisions to meet the DOC for the Month.
Work with business teams to improve margins by identifying areas with scope for improved efficiency and cost reductions.
Prepare Flash results: MTD/YTD and other MOR dashboards, including additional financial metrics such as EBIT/ROCE/EVA.
Collaborate closely with Category and sales teams on claim management.
Highlight key points for reporting Division's financial outlook and forecasts in consultation with Business and Central Finance.
Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of the division.
Implement Financial Controls and ensure compliance with laid down processes in business transactions, credit management, business planning, and procurements.
Assist Division Head and Central Finance in financial planning and finalizing the budget for the Division at the beginning of the year.
Provide decision support to Business Head and Senior Managers from a financial perspective as the key finance resource for the division.
Must Have: Experience with an industry having transactions in Repair/Service, Warranty, and Spares.
Qualification & Skills:
CA / ACCA Degree with 5-10 years of experience in similar roles.
In-depth knowledge of accounting, business finance, receivables, and payables.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
