Job Description:

We are looking to hire a dynamic Finance Controller to lead the Finance, accounts and navigate the company towards the financial goals.
He/She will report directly to the CEO.

We are a group that has established its roots in the field of Aviation, Finance & Investments, Engineering, Real Estate, Travel & Tourism, Landscaping, Trading and Logistics segments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership and Strategy:
   Oversee the financial and accounting operations across the group of companies.
   Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the organization’s goals.
   Provide strategic advice to the CEO regarding investment opportunities and financial planning.
2. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
   Design, implement, and monitor SOPs to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in all financial and operational processes.
   Regularly review and update SOPs in line with business needs and regulatory requirements.
3. Investment and Financial Planning:
   Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities to maximize returns and mitigate risks.
   Analyze financial data to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership:
   Direct and oversee the activities of procurement, human resources, and legal departments to ensure smooth operations.
   Collaborate with department heads to align financial and operational goals.
5. Banking and External Relationships:
   Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure optimal financing solutions.
   Negotiate terms for loans, credit facilities, and other banking services.
6. Regulatory and Compliance Oversight:
   Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
   Manage internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation and reports.
7. Team Management:
   Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team to develop skills and foster a culture of accountability.
   Establish KPIs and performance metrics for teams under your supervision.
   Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard company assets.
   Maintain and update risk management policies and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

1. Chartered Accountant with proven experience (8+ years) in finance and accounting leadership roles, preferably in a group of companies.
2. Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and investment evaluation.
3. Strong knowledge of tax regulations, legal compliance, and corporate governance.
4. Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and analytical tools.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
7. Effective communication and presentation abilities.
8. Strategic thinking with a focus on organizational goals.
9. Ability to manage multiple departments and foster cross-functional collaboration.
