We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager – Finance Business Partner who will be responsible for managing Escrow Accounts, financial statements, and Accounts Receivables for our client based in Dubai—one of the largest companies in the region.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 months and is renewable.
The role sits within the Finance Department (GL, Taxation, and AR) and reports directly to the Manager – Finance Business Partner.
We are looking for a passionate Assistant Manager – Finance Business Partner who specializes in statutory reporting, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition. You should also have experience in IFRS compliance, financial statement preparation, risk management, and audit coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business units to ensure smooth financial transactions and contract execution.
- Collaborate with shared services for accounts receivable (AR), revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
- Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with shared services and third parties, ensuring performance compliance.
- Oversee monthly revenue recognition in line with IFRS standards and review financial statements for accuracy.
- Lead financial reconciliations, bad debt management, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external audits, providing reports and financial insights.
- Optimize finance policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Drive automation initiatives within financial reporting systems for improved accuracy and efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or ACCA qualification is required.
- 4–6 years of experience in financial reporting, accounts receivable management, and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT compliance, and revenue recognition processes.
- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion, Unifier, and Salesforce is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in financial data analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with automation of financial processes is a plus.
