Finance Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department's daily operations and ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and performing data entry tasks.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
• Prepare and file financial documents, reports, and statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of financial tasks.
• Respond to financial inquiries from internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Assist in preparing financial presentations and reports for management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar finance assistant role.
• Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and practices (preferred).
• Adaptability to learn new financial systems and processes quickly.
