Job description

Position Title: Finance Analyst / Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    Lead financial reporting and analysis at the project level, offering in-depth financial insights to help optimize project performance. Participate in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports at the department level, providing key financial data to support management decisions.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    Take the lead in preparing and monitoring project-level budgets, analyzing variances, and proposing optimization measures. Contribute to the preparation and updates of the department’s annual budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  3. Business Support:
    Lead the full financial lifecycle of projects, including cost-benefit analysis, revenue forecasting, and post-implementation tracking. Support the financial needs of departments by providing data for resource allocation and business decision-making.
  4. Cost Control and Efficiency Improvement:
    Lead the development and implementation of cost control and efficiency improvement measures at the project level. Participate in the monitoring and analysis of company-wide costs and expenses, offering suggestions for cost optimization.
  5. Data Analysis and Financial Modeling:
    Develop and optimize financial models at the project level to support forecasting, monitor key indicators, and facilitate project decision-making. Take the lead in financial data analysis for projects, utilizing data analytics tools to provide actionable insights.
  6. Collaboration and Reporting:
    Lead the execution and coordination of project-level financial activities, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements. Work closely with the group finance teams (accounting, tax, treasury, reporting, etc.) to support financial activities at both the department and project levels.
  7. Special Assignments:
    Assist or lead special financial tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; holding certifications such as CICPA, ACCA, or CIMA is a plus.
  • Work Experience: 5 years of relevant experience; experience with Big Four accounting firms, corporate financial analysis, project financial management, or as a Financial Business Partner (FBP) is preferred.

Professional Skills:

  • Proficient in financial analysis methods and tools, capable of meeting both company-level and project-level financial requirements.
  • Skilled in using Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis tools; experience with SAP financial systems is a plus.
