Job purpose

Finance Analyst

1. Control and report on freight out expenses to optimize logistics costs.
2. Monitor and analyze personnel costs to ensure alignment with budgeted figures.
3. Oversee general and administrative (G&A) expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
4. Manage and maintain the BI tool for accurate data analysis and reporting.
5. Prepare and submit budgeting figures in financial systems in a timely manner.
6. Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual figures.
7. Prepare and communicate Flash Finance report.
8. Maintain and track accruals and provisions.
9. Consolidate financial files and reports for comprehensive analysis and review.
10. Conduct reconciliation exercises to ensure data integrity.
11. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review.
12. Participate in the development and enhancement of financial processes and tools.
13. Perform ad hoc financial analysis.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Controlling
2. 3/4 years of experience in Finance, ideally with Business Finance/Controlling experience
3. High Controlling and Analytical skills
4. Excellent knowledge of Financial reporting flows
5. Excellent computer skills, including financial tools and ERP
6. Excellent presentation and reporting skills
7. High Communication skills and assertiveness/agility and business acumen
8. High attention to detail and accuracy
9. Confident, respect of deadlines and commitment
