Business Development & Strategy Planning is responsible for gathering and reporting the company’s and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Balance Scorecards; subsequently implementing strategy through cascading down the strategic objectives to departmental to the employee level. In addition to this, providing financial analysis and recommendations to management on different projects and constructing the company’s Business Plan.
Skills
Professional accounting qualification ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CIA or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years experience preferably in Airline, of which at least three years should be in a role with strong emphasis on financial analysis and management accounting
A high degree of knowledge on all aspects of airline operations, airline accounting, and financial planning
Preferably with working knowledge in preparation and presentation of KPI and Balance Scorecard
Proficiency in the use of office automation software like Excel, Word, etc. to help compile/produce management reports and analysis efficiently
Experience in the usage of SAGE/Oracle and ERP systems
Commercial acumen and strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to deal with the business managers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong planning, organizing, and integration skills
Strong knowledge in the development and implementation of policies & procedures
