Duration: 9 months (Extendable)
Hours/rotation: Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid).
Salary range: Excellent salary package with benefits.

Job summary/Role description:
- Field Shift Operator executes the activities pertaining to his/her discipline in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
- He/she can operate in one of the following different fields according to the specific project such as Power, Oil And Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical.
- He/she reports to the Operation Shift Supervisor.
- He/she is assigned to the Project by AVIMP Head of Department.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Operating in the field, under the instruction of the Board Operator, he/she is responsible to maintain in operation under safe conditions the plant/unit/equipment at the MCR or maximum efficiency point keeping the production or other detectable parameters at a higher point. In case of trip or partial load, have to operate and remove the constraint and increase again the load.
- During the commissioning of the systems: he/she keeps records of all activities performed in the logbook.
- Overlap his/her colleague to bring all remarks and happenings of the plant during his/her shift off.
- Read carefully the written handovers in the Control Room logbook.
- Lockout and other safety procedures for equipment under maintenance.
- He/she follows Shift Supervisor and Desk Operator instructions to operate the plant in the field being physically present close to the starting machine or any other equipment.
- Checks for smoke leaks, noises, vibrations, fluid levels, instrument readings, and every possible anomaly.
Person Specification:
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any Engineering courses.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 to 15 years work experience.
- Significant experience in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects/Refinery.
- Experience in on-site pre-commissioning/commissioning.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, management skills.
- Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
