Field Service Technician (Emiratization)

Job Summary:

Looking for a field service technician to support workshop activities and field operations in Abu Dhabi (Musaffah). The role is measured by the accurate fulfilment of contracted specification and/or requirements and the generation of new/repeated business. The service technician is expected to support the Completion Tools product line within the assigned work area/Abu Dhabi & MENA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Service, repair, overhaul, inspect and identify faults on NOV Completion Tools Equipment.
2. Electrical, Mechanical and hydraulic servicing, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and repair.
3. Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
4. Make recommendations on improving product and systems efficiency, maintaining continuous and high levels of operation.
5. Report and update relevant documentation like but not limited to product bulletin customer daily reports and service reports.
6. Read and interpret engineering drawings/schematics to identify and correct faults, redline drawings/schematics.
7. Escalate key faults or product failures to relevant department and progress through to resolution.
8. Promote HSE plans and support the continuous developing of internal policy.
9. Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and customers.
10. Inspects NOV equipment for conformance with operational standards.
11. Where necessary, liaise closely with other operational teams to ensure continuous improvement of all systems and processes.
12. Carry out fault finding, repair and recommendations in a timely manner without compromising safety or quality.
13. Be aware of and adhere to HSE requirements whilst working on both onshore/offshore installations.
14. Cleaning and management of assigned tools, preparation of toolbox.
15. Communicate with his supervisor regularly, on all aspects of service.
16. Complete reporting, download the job packs, prepare and submit the report for each and every job on timely manner to prepare the billing paperwork.
17. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

1. Diploma degree and above.
2. 0-1 year of experience in Manufacturing, Oil & Gas field experience or other industries.
3. Hard-working.
4. Motivated.
