Field Service Specialist II

Support the LSS business as Field Service Specialist II to drive the Services business operations and growth with superb customer satisfaction and safety record.

Responsible for the delivery of the support services to customers respecting global standards and processes.

Understand customer needs and resolve issues through technical knowledge.

Knows customer's site and contacts and uses Honeywell support network to provide excellent service and quality to customers.

Focuses on customer growth and development.

Identifies service business opportunities in the customers' installed base.

Key Responsibilities

1. Safety: Meet the Corporate, customer, and legal obligations of Health, Safety, and Environment (trainings, use of PPEs, and safety observations).
2. Custodian Accounts: Manage effectively assigned customer accounts service operations, service agreement deliverables as a custodian.
3. Customer Growth and Development: Identify and develop opportunities for business growth cooperating actively with sales to progress them having an active and influential role with the customer to develop the solution. Actively engage with sales to pursue the opportunities (actively generate sales leads).
4. System Upgrades and Modifications: Installation/configuration/implementation & commissioning of Honeywell's product range including Industrial control & safety systems, 3rd party DCS Systems, or SCADA products to meet customer specifications. Perform systems modification and upgrades (of different levels of complexity according to job qualification).
5. Maintain Customer Equipment: Regularly perform preventive & corrective maintenance and promptly intervene on maintenance needs.
6. System Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and escalation for rectification of system issues.
7. Quality of Delivery: Deliver promptly against Service Requests, respecting agreed timing as per GSM process.
8. Internal Processes and Reporting: Adopt and adhere to global standards in terms of tracking actions (tools and timing) and promptly submit timesheets and billable work to ensure on-time invoicing.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Technical education (diploma) in electronic systems/industrial automation/electrical.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Honeywell DCS (TPS/TDC) & Honeywell EPKS (Experion System) system maintenance of automation control systems for sophisticated industrial environments.
• Knowledge of electronic systems (installation/configuration/implementation/troubleshooting), primarily for Honeywell TotalPlant Solution (TPS)/TDC System and Honeywell EPKS (Experion System).
• Knowledge in Legacy system migration to various Enhanced (E) Technologies like EPHM, ELCN, EUCN, etc.
• Certification on TPS/TDC system.
• Certification on Honeywell EPKS (Experion System).
