Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Field IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operations of their IT systems. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with a diverse team, and make a significant impact on our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide on-site technical support to clients, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, network connectivity, and server maintenance.
  2. Set up and install new systems, including servers, workstations, and peripheral equipment.
  3. Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime and performance for clients' systems.
  4. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  5. Identify and implement solutions for improving system efficiency and productivity.
  6. Respond to and resolve IT tickets and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Train end-users on new technologies and software applications.
  8. Collaborate with remote teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  9. Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities and system configurations.
  10. Adhere to company security protocols and ensure clients' systems are protected from cyber threats.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  3. Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
  4. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  5. Experience with server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
  6. Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Customer-oriented with a passion for providing exceptional IT support.
  9. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  10. Proven time-management and multitasking abilities.
  11. Current CompTIA A certification is preferred.
