Field Installation Technician- Telecom

Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Installation Technician for our Telecom division in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications systems in the field, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment in the field.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine installation requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to telecom systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of installation projects.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Provide training and support to customers on the use of installed equipment.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-10 years of experience in field installation for telecommunications or related fields.
• Proficient in the installation and maintenance of fiber optic and copper cabling systems.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications protocols and technologies (e.g., VoIP, DSL, LTE).
• Experience with network configuration and testing tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites in the Gulf region.
