Field Engineer/Site Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Site Assessment: Conduct thorough site surveys and assessments to evaluate existing conditions and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Design Review: Collaborate with design teams to review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans for civil works related to tank farm facilities.
• Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating construction activities, including earthworks, foundations, drainage systems, and asphalt/concrete works, ensuring adherence to project schedules.
• Quality Control: Monitor construction processes and ensure that civil works comply with industry standards, specifications, and safety regulations. Document and report any discrepancies.
• Field Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to assess progress, quality, safety, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Communication: Serve as a liaison between the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers, facilitating communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support to construction crews, addressing engineering challenges and ensuring proper implementation of designs.
• Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly reports on progress, challenges, and resolutions for management review.
• Safety Management: Promote a culture of safety by adhering to safety protocols and regulations, conducting safety meetings, and addressing unsafe conditions or practices on-site.

Desired Candidate Profile: The Field Engineer - Civil will play a vital role in the planning, execution, and completion of civil engineering components for the tank farm project. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other engineering personnel to ensure that all work meets safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
