FFE Designer

• Liaise directly with clients, subconsultants, and contractors.
• Work with the design team to develop 3D visuals and concept narratives, ensuring visuals are as per specs.
• Review projects' FF&E technical submissions and specifications.
• Produce concept designs and mood boards related to FF&E selections and finish ID material finishes, sanitary ware, ironmongery, gym equipment, and hardware selections.
• Strong background in multiple project types: luxury hospitality, F&B, residential, workplace, retail, and office.
• Ability to manage projects from concept through to installation.
• Strong supplier relations and ability to source unique project materials.
• Review FF&E and material selections from the design team to ensure quality and cohesion.
• Support in the production of FF&E specification books and other relevant spec documents.
• Check basic CAD work for layouts and bespoke furniture design. Support in reviewing shop drawings and prototypes to ensure they align with the design intent.
• Understand individual clients' needs and the needs of the people using the spaces, developing FF&E design concepts in consultation with the client and establishing final briefs.
• Provide proposals for improving all company standards related to FF&E specification.
• Check the FF&E deliverables for projects.
• Mentor and direct junior and middleweight designers.
• Supervise quality at the design and delivery stage and onsite when required for the project.
• Keep up to date with new developments in the design industry.
• Excellent understanding of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Excel, and technical shop drawings.
• Exceptional understanding of suppliers, materials, fabrics, sanitary ware, lighting, and ironmongery specifications.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to meet tight project deadlines.
• Strong sense of design flair, love of art, and furniture arrangements.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong conceptualization and presentation skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Architecture / Interior Design.
• 8 to 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years working with international consulting companies in the UAE.
• Proficient in Revit/BIM delivery processes.
• Strong technical and design expertise with experience handling large-scale projects from concept to completion.
