Be responsible for spa treatment consultations and identification of possible contraindications.
Perform beauty therapy treatments, massage and body therapy treatments, and specialized treatments for members and guests to the required standard and provide guests with homecare wellbeing programs.
Provide aftercare advice for members or guests.
Achieve retail sales.
Maintain all treatment rooms and therapy back of house areas to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Ensure that all equipment is serviced as part of a preventative maintenance program.
Conduct spa tours and consultations with guests and members, giving personalized advice and promoting facilities, treatments, and products.
Assist during spa promotions and events.
Support marketing and public relations efforts.
Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
Uphold standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
Perform prep work, properly clean, and restock rooms as required.
Actively promote spa treatments, services, retail, and available programs, promotions, and/or discounts.
Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Possess an active license or certification in a related field.
One to two years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high level of attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
Ability to work independently and partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
