This KG to Grade 12 Private English medium international school group is looking for dedicated teachers to join them for the next academic year. The school is well established and uses a US common core curriculum overlaid with the IB, allowing teachers to access amazing professional development and learning opportunities. This is a stable school that has been rated as VERY GOOD by the government inspectors.

Requirements:

• Degree in science/physics
• Valid teaching license
• Clean police clearance/criminal record check
• At least two years post-qualifying experience due to Ministry regulations
• Willingness to work in a 100% ESL learning environment
• American Curriculum experience (common core preferred) is valued
• If not a native English speaker, must have IELTS 7.0

Teachers should demonstrate a strong academic background in content knowledge, be collaborative and collegial, value the use of data to drive instruction, be assessment literate, skilled at differentiating and engaging students, able to utilize effective instructional strategies, and be technologically proficient.

Additional Information:

Combining the US core standards curriculum with IB philosophy, the school blends traditional American approaches with a student-centered perspective. The goal is to attain IB world school status while retaining the American element, allowing students to graduate with a US diploma and potentially an IB diploma as well. Advanced Placement courses are also available.
