We are seeking an animal-lover, friendly, organized, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for pet owners and their pets. You will handle various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Mandatory excellent experience in Digital and social media marketing
- Greet clients and their pets in a warm, friendly manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments
- Provide information about services, procedures, and clinic policies
- Maintain patient records, ensuring they are updated and accurate
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry
- Handle client inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Coordinate with the veterinary team to manage the flow of appointments
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (veterinary clinic experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computers and office software (experience with veterinary practice management software is a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A compassionate attitude toward animals and their owners
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
- Experience handling confidential client information
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
- Comfortable with handling pets in a calm and caring manner
