About SEHA Clinics

The SEHA Clinics has a focus on primary and community delivered health care services that range from family medicine, COVID-19 dedicated facilities for assessment and testing, to specialized dialysis and nephrology services, and a wide range of outpatient specialty clinics delivered across the emirate of Abu Dhabi, and when required to other UAE emirates. Ambulatory Health Services is recognized for its world-class rapid response to meeting the needs of the community, which has been particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic.

About the Role

Responsible for planning, organizing, managing and coordinating all aspects of the facility’s management including civil, mechanical, electrical and biomedical engineering. Also responsible for working with SEHA and other governing bodies to ensure compliance with approved policies, procedures and JCIA standards as well as statutory and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. Setting up strategies and global plans for the department.
  2. Setting up of the long term plan for the overall functioning of the department/section.
  3. Directing and recommending appropriate departmental goals, objectives, systems, programs and priorities.
  4. Managing the various services/sub-department.
  5. Ensuring implementation of departmental goals through appropriate policies and procedures.
  6. Providing leadership for facilities management; monitoring and evaluating departmental activities to ensure effective implementation.
  7. Participating in the development, communication and evaluation of departmental standards, procedures and protocols.
  8. Coordinating with the appropriate departments to ensure timely processing of all requirements.
  9. Performing routine and periodic evaluation of electrical, mechanical, civil and biomedical systems to ensure proper levels of operation and redundancy.
  10. Supporting the department in selection and monitoring of outside vendors of products and services as required.
  11. Supporting the department in ensuring the utility management for the facility.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Finance, Business Management, Healthcare Management, Clinical degree.

Desired: Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering or in a relevant technical discipline.

Required Skills

  • Recognised project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

Proficiency in Arabic Language.
