Facilities Officer

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct periodical campus inspections of facilities to evaluate maintenance and repair needs, ensuring classrooms, study areas, staff areas, and other facilities are safe and functional; report findings and recommendations to Line Manager.
2. Conduct maintenance activities as per the PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Ensure electrical and mechanical equipment on campus is properly maintained and repaired; notify third-party service providers of any required maintenance activity as needed.
4. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of third-party service provider staff.
5. Support the monitoring of third-party providers’ work to ensure adherence to agreed standards, quality, and contractual agreements (e.g., MEP, cleaning, security, catering, etc.).
6. Follow up on cleaning and maintenance of lighting on campus, in coordination with Central Services and third-party vendors.
7. Coordinate with nurses to ensure all equipment is readily available on campus.
8. Liaise with the Health and Safety team to report any compliance issues with Health and Safety policies, procedures, and processes.
9. Coordinate the facilities’ setup for all internal and external events on campus.
10. Develop and maintain a log of all employee requests and complaints related to campus facilities.
11. Prepare various periodical and ad hoc reports on facilities matters.

What You Need to Be Successful

Qualifications

1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required (e.g., Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering).
2. Full English proficiency is required.
3. Advanced computer literacy is required (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD).
