Job description

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager - French Nationals on a permanent contract in Dubai-UAE.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  1. Designing, developing, and maintaining MEP systems, machinery, and equipment.
  2. Creating equipment specifications for new facilities.
  3. Drafting operational procedures.
  4. Assisting clients with material procurement.
  5. Managing construction facilities.
  6. Estimating material, construction, and labor costs, as well as project timescales.
  7. Creating Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and related documentation.
  8. Providing technical expertise on engineering requirements.
  9. Developing maintenance procedures, protocols, method statements, permits to work, and risk assessments.
  10. Conducting planned and reactive maintenance tasks with hands-on technical proficiency.
  11. Supervising repairs and other maintenance activities.
  12. Coordinating with external parties for Facilities Services.
  13. Maintaining accurate work order and maintenance records.
  14. Assisting in staff training.
  15. Performing additional tasks as directed by the client.

Key Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  2. Minimum of 10 years' experience in Facilities or Project Management supervision.
  3. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  4. Proficiency in English and Arabic; French proficiency preferred.
  5. Experience in electrical/mechanical design, schematic creation, detailed design, and value engineering.
  6. Proficient in CAD, Dialux, and other relevant software.
  7. Preference for candidates with dual French and Arab nationality.
