Facilities Manager - French Nationals - Dubai
Job description
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager - French Nationals on a permanent contract in Dubai-UAE.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining MEP systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Creating equipment specifications for new facilities.
- Drafting operational procedures.
- Assisting clients with material procurement.
- Managing construction facilities.
- Estimating material, construction, and labor costs, as well as project timescales.
- Creating Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and related documentation.
- Providing technical expertise on engineering requirements.
- Developing maintenance procedures, protocols, method statements, permits to work, and risk assessments.
- Conducting planned and reactive maintenance tasks with hands-on technical proficiency.
- Supervising repairs and other maintenance activities.
- Coordinating with external parties for Facilities Services.
- Maintaining accurate work order and maintenance records.
- Assisting in staff training.
- Performing additional tasks as directed by the client.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in Facilities or Project Management supervision.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic; French proficiency preferred.
- Experience in electrical/mechanical design, schematic creation, detailed design, and value engineering.
- Proficient in CAD, Dialux, and other relevant software.
- Preference for candidates with dual French and Arab nationality.
