Job description

The Facilities Manager will oversee all operations related to facility management and procurement, ensuring the smooth operation of office buildings, warehouses, and other business units. This leadership position is critical to managing facility services, contractor relations, and resource optimization, contributing to the organization’s expansion and operational excellence. The role also involves strategic planning for future developments and managing procurement and cost-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Operations & Maintenance: Manage the daily operations of business premises, ensuring all systems (security, HVAC, fire safety, etc.) run efficiently. Oversee maintenance and project management for office spaces, warehouses, and other facilities.
  • Procurement & Budgeting: Develop strategies for the procurement of goods and services related to facilities. Monitor and control expenses and manage budgeting for facility operations.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain and upgrade security and safety measures across all premises.
  • Contract & Lease Management: Oversee all leases, contracts, and agreements with external vendors, ensuring cost-effective and timely renewals. Resolve any legal or operational issues related to agreements.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and manage the facilities team, fostering a collaborative work environment. Develop and implement employee training and development initiatives to enhance team performance.
  • Project Management: Lead and oversee key projects such as office renovations, construction of new facilities, or energy efficiency initiatives. Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Negotiate favorable terms and ensure service excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in facilities management, with 3-5 years in a leadership role within a dynamic industry (preferably in healthcare Industry).
  • Strong experience in procurement, contract management, and facilities maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
