The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Facilities Management Consultant to join our team in either Riyadh or Dubai.

As the Facilities Management Consultant, you will be an integral part of the facility management consultancy team, responsible for leading and supporting client projects across the full spectrum of FM services. You will leverage your personal expertise and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results.

In this role, you will represent Macro as a presenter, project participant, business developer and industry professional both internally and externally.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and growth.
  2. Participate actively in service delivery with the consultancy team.
  3. Manage commercial performance.
  4. Financial management of projects.
  5. Risk identification and mitigation.
  6. Support bid development through writing, fee compilation, and identifying opportunities for business growth, while upholding a professional standard in all interactions.

The ideal candidate will have:

Expertise in one of three FM consultancy fields:

  1. Strategic FM (covering areas like operational transitions, FM system integrations, and organisational change management)
  2. Commercial FM (focusing on cost modelling, OPEX budgeting, and operational feasibility analysis)
  3. Technical FM (including design reviews, CAD, and BIM integrations).

Desirable competencies include experience across multiple FM fields or general competence in all skill sets.

Industry experience essentials include:

  1. Experience in FM or related fields.
  2. Consultancy experience.
  3. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
  4. An understanding of industry standards.
  5. Strong communication, client retention, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proactive project management and professional integrity.
  7. Relevant degree, evidence of professional development, and professional membership.
  8. Advanced business development skills and the ability to support teams under pressure.
