Facilities Coordinator
The Wonder Years Nursery
Location: Remraam Branch, Dubai, UAE
Hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 6 PM, Saturdays 8 AM - 2 PM

We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our nursery environment. This role is vital in managing maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency to create a welcoming space for our children, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality and government regulations
    • Maintain updated records of trade licenses, building licenses, and renewals
    • Oversee waste disposal and environmental safety
    • Ensure health & safety regulations are met for staff and children
  2. Maintenance & Operations:
    • Arrange regular maintenance for nursery equipment (CCTV, fire alarms, HVAC, etc.)
    • Conduct routine inspections of classrooms and furniture
    • Oversee summer deep cleaning and disinfecting of the premises
    • Monitor facility expenses and coordinate parking duty during peak hours
  3. Transport Coordination:
    • Manage student transportation with an RTA-approved bus company
    • Ensure proper registration of bus nannies with RTA
    • Oversee bus schedules and passenger safety
  4. Inventory & Procurement:
    • Conduct yearly inventory of school property
    • Manage procurement of supplies, including pantry and office items
    • Organize invoices and supplier records
  5. Administrative Duties:
    • Assist with government renewals and regulatory documentation
    • Assign and oversee cleaning tasks alongside the supervisor
    • Maintain detailed logs and facility-related records

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in facilities management, operations, or a similar role
  2. Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations & compliance standards
  3. Excellent spoken English & communication skills
  4. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  5. Strong organizational & problem-solving skills
