Supervises and directs the activities of assigned personnel in the Fabrication Section. Performs supervisory functions at the level established by Management.
Receives work orders and determines priorities based on work schedules and commitments, obtains appropriate materials, special tools, and equipment as required, assigns craftsmen to the various jobs, and provides necessary technical instructions.
Checks daily the work progress and inspects completed work to ensure conformity with craft standards.
Inspects work performed by contractors for compliance with established specifications and standards.
Arranges for and ensures that tools, equipment, and other materials are available at all times.
Skills Required
Good standard of written and spoken English.
All offshore safety training requirements.
8 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Candidate must have oil processing mechanical and piping construction projects experience.
