The key objectives for this role are:- Supervising the construction and fabrication of mechanical systems and components to ensure adherence to project specifications and schedules.
- Ensuring all mechanical work meets required quality standards and industry regulations.
- Efficiently managing resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Tracking project progress and making necessary adjustments to stay on schedule and within budget.
- Identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that arise during fabrication and construction.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including work logs and inspection reports.
RESPONSIBILITIESKey Accountabilities and Responsibilities:- Promote HSE awareness and ensure that all Project HSE requirements are implemented and adhered to
- Provide fabrication/construction oversight in area of discipline specialty (E&I or Mechanical)
- Provide effective and practical construction input to ensure constructability aspects of project execution are adequately considered
- Ensure that construction hazards and risks are fully considered by Contractors and that the appropriate mitigation and actions are implemented during the construction phase
- Ensure, through review and monitoring, that the construction schedule is achievable, and that early mitigation of slippage or use of opportunities is identified and appropriate action taken
- Ensure that construction quality is maintained at an acceptable level, including all required records and tests; thus, ensuring that pre-commissioning, commissioning (where required) and handover are achieved
- Coordinate with all project stakeholders to facilitate the project execution with minimum disruption and hazards to both on-going operations and the Contractor
- Liaise with the Contractor and other IPMT groups to ensure timely and effective release of construction data/drawings and resolution of problems
- Ensure that efficient and effective communications are maintained between the Contractor and IPMT, ensuring that all reporting requirements are met
- Develop close working relationships between all assigned construction team members, HSE, QA/QC and Logistics teams to provide a consistent approach and effective resolution of issues.

Expected:- B.Sc. or equivalent degree in Engineering from an accredited university/college is desired or equivalent level site experience in similar roles
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas industry (offshore/onshore) with comprehensive hands-on experience in Construction Engineering
- Good HSE awareness and commitment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good technical team and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
