The InterContinental Hotels Group at Dubai Festival City consists of four hotels. These include the luxury and lifestyle brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the premium Crowne Plaza, and the essentials Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1,600 rooms, the cluster boasts a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gym and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your day-to-day:

  1. In the absence of a manager, conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known.
  2. Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in logbook for further follow up.
  3. Supervise cash handling and banking procedures.
  4. Prepare daily banking and cash flow reports.
  5. Establish and instruct staff in cash security procedures.
  6. Deal with irregular payments.
  7. Supervise the maintenance of service equipment.
  8. Monitor standards of guest facilities and services.
  9. Control stock and monitor security procedures.
  10. Assist with menu and wine list creation.
  11. Supervise functions.

  • Basic organisation skills in restaurant operation.
