A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift, and logs all complaints in log book for further follow up
• Ensure restaurant operating equipment is clean and in working order
• Executes cash handling and banking procedures
• Prepare daily banking and cash flow reports
• Establish and instruct staff in cash security procedures
• Supervise the maintenance of service equipment
• Monitor standards of guest facilities and services
• Always follow standard telephone etiquette while speaking to guest over phone
• Greet guests appropriately at their room and provide service upon items ordered
• Ensure prompt and efficient delivery of food and beverage to the guest's room
• Serve orders if needed
• Read and retain all pertinent information regarding daily promotions, food and beverage specials
• May check back with guest to ensure they are enjoying their meal, and determine if they have any other needs
• Perform essential duties in the absence of supervisor
• Must be able to anticipate guest or operational needs
• Ensure all room service equipment is functioning properly; report any problems to the supervisor
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with the Hotel Standards
• Control stock and monitor security procedures
• Perform any reasonable tasks as instructed by supervisor or assistant manager

• Ideally, the candidate should have 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work in a team and in different functions

• Basic organisation skills in Food & Beverage operation
