Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Export Sales Executive to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this role is crucial for expanding our footprint in the African market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in FMCG or FMCD sales and demonstrate a record for driving sales in the African Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate the African market, focusing on importers, distributors, wholesalers, and hypermarket chains.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the target territories.
  3. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs to drive sales growth.
  4. Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute to overall business objectives.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor promotional strategies that resonate with the African consumer base.
  6. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to management.
  7. Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote Cosmoplast’s products.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  1. Fluent in English; proficiency in French and Arabic is a definite advantage.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in export sales covering the African Region, specifically in selling FMCD or FMCG.
  3. Proven track record of successfully managing sales in the African market.
  4. Strong understanding of the plastic household products sector is an advantage.
  5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Willingness to travel at least 10 days per month.
