Expert Tailor & Master Cutter – Eveningwear & Bridal

• Stitch and tailor elegant evening and bridal gowns with great attention to detail.

• Work closely with the team to create beautiful designs.

• Ensure perfect fit and do alterations when needed.

• Maintain high standards of sewing, stitching, and finishing.

• Creative pattern cutting: work to design brief from rough sketch or technical drawing and/or input starting block.

• Patterning with design team to achieve season vision through shape and form.

• Attend fittings with the design and development teams: finding proactive solutions and proposing finishing resolutions.

• Work with the sample machinist throughout the development phase to produce prototype garments within the required timeline.

• Take patterns through to production and prepare patterns for grading.

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in luxury eveningwear or bridal couture.

• Strong skills in cutting and sewing fine fabrics.

• Good knowledge of garment construction and finishing techniques.

• Ability to work carefully and meet deadlines.

• Passion for high-quality craftsmanship.
