Job description
- Ensure client tracking is reviewed before sending to clients.
- Ensure all trucks/allocations are announced and consistent with the requirements of the transport managers and clients.
- Prepare reporting of global tracking by entity, by client, by route, and by active deliveries.
- Ensure all documentation has correct details and is uploaded into the system.
- Confirm schedule of security escorts.
- Manage transporter queries of delays, amendments, and execution on the road.
- Ensure the system is updated with the correct information: client details, consignee, route & deliveries.
- Ensure documents are ready for submission (Customs BOE, Packing List, Commercial Invoices, Road Manifests).
- Analyze and review delays for on route for all our deliveries.
- Manage complaints, queries, and general execution of planned cargo.
- Push on delays at loading, offloading, and clearing.
Mandatory Requirements
- Good English level, both written and spoken.
- High sense of responsibility.
- Accurate data entry and typing skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Experience in a similar function.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Logistics Operations.
- Experience in East and Central African markets highly advantageous.
