We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in banking.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Monitor respective Group and related subsidiaries business strategy, providing them with HR guidance and business partner input/insight to ensure the people agenda is considered and included in the business strategy.
- Collaborate with Group and related subsidiaries to gain a deep understanding of their strategic future plans to ensure that HR principles are included.
- Provide expert input across a range of HR issues, in order to design and deliver high impact solutions that meet the needs of the business.
- Translate business and Group strategy to the people strategy, by deriving short/long term talent needs from strategic business plan in order to plan for people development.
- Own the assigned business unit relationship with HR/Centres of Excellence (CoE), providing the ‘voice of the customer’ back to the respective specialist HR teams in order to recommend operational required improvements to internal policy and process.
- Serve as a thought partner to the business, including subsidiaries, across all HR topics, providing input for all key strategic discussions and challenges in order to apply central HR best practices and guidelines.
- Ensure best practices and guidelines are put in place to ensure consistency across the organisation, tailored to the Group’s needs and specifics such as productivity, efficiency, spans and layers improvement and critical role selection.
- Set and prioritise HR initiatives/levers within specified departments in order to achieve outcomes by key area, reporting and recommending course corrections when identified.
- Communicate to HR CoEs the key business/Group pain points in order to provide input on solutions/improvements.
- Measure as much as possible, talent outcomes and link them to business outcomes.
The ideal candidate should have the following experience:
- At least 8 years of experience within a progressive HR role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related subject.
- Demonstrable interest in the Banking business with a willingness to learn continuously.
- Detail oriented and solution oriented.
- Ability to work on own initiative and be a problem solver.
- Good writing and communication skills to effectively communicate with management.
