Your role and responsibilities
This is an Excitation Lead role for United Arab Emirates reporting to MEA Excitation Sales Manager. You will be primarily responsible for planning and ensuring implementation of Excitation strategy, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for systems, products and services in a profitable way. Responsible for leading the Sales organization of Excitation Business in allocated region proactively, to exceed the sales targets through high performance in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The work model for the role is onsite. You will mainly be accountable for:
Owning and managing the ABB EXC Install Base, assuring the database cleanup, alignment and update.
Identifying the excitation White Spot and business potential, supporting the local units in listing the priority of the sites to be addressed, tracking, supporting and assuring the local unit reaches the target KPI for the related initiative.
Increasing the market penetration with the Generator IB analysis to attack competition, leveraging the existing ABB Automation IB as value add.
Driving improvement in sales through the special initiatives, attending the rollout meeting and organizing the internal meeting.
Being the point of reference for the local units for any clarifications and support.
Monitoring of the overall sales pipeline with periodic reports and identification of outside business in the HUB.
Participating proactively in the periodic sales calls.
Supporting the local units in the sales process, including technical solutions and market pricing.
Attending webinars to get updates on all new initiatives, rules, reporting methodology and anything else needed to grant a successful business.
Driving day-to-day service safety and integrity and implementing Group initiatives in order to embed a culture of health and safety and integrity across the organization.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree preferably in electrical, power electronics or equivalent experience.
Requires 5+ years of experience in marketing & sales of solutions & services in power generation utilities.
Experience of sales in power generation or EXS projects.
Required previous experience of EXS business.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills are required.
Should be fluent in English comprehension and writing.
Willing to travel across the allocated region countries.
