Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of high-quality events across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This role is crucial to delivering exceptional member experiences and fostering a vibrant community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, particularly with premium venues, and be adept at organizing panel discussions and fireside chats featuring industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Events Management (90%)

  1. Event Planning & Execution: Organize and execute at least one event per week per city, including coffee mornings, dinners, panel discussions, and networking events.
  2. Venue & Vendor Coordination: Negotiate with premium venues to secure top-tier spaces for events, ensuring alignment with YP Club's brand and quality standards.
  3. Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the Community Manager in Abu Dhabi to ensure smooth event operations and consistency in member experience.
  4. Attendance & Leadership: Attend and oversee all Dubai events to ensure seamless execution and provide remote support for Abu Dhabi events.

Administration & Reporting (10%)

  1. Event Documentation: Maintain detailed records of event logistics, attendance, and feedback to improve future events.
  2. Budget Management: Monitor event expenses, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
  3. Reporting: Provide regular updates to the CEO on event performance, member engagement, and feedback.

Required Skills and Experience

  1. Event Management Experience: 3+ years of experience in planning and executing premium events, including panel discussions, fireside chats, and networking events.
  2. Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms with high-end venues and vendors.
  3. Community Building: Passionate about fostering community connections with a track record of creating engaging and meaningful experiences.
  4. Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with the business and cultural landscape of the GCC, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools, project management software, and virtual event platforms.
