ITP Media Group is looking for a proactive and driven Events Manager to support the management of all business and consumer events. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, passionate about advancing their career in the events industry, and have a strong understanding of the essential elements needed to execute high-quality events such as conferences and gala dinners. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for exploring innovative formats and emerging trends, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our events.
Key Responsibilities
Manage events across the hospitality, design, entertainment, and business groups.
Collaborate with the Head of Events, Chief Content Officer, and Chief Commercial Officer to plan and execute brand and client-driven events.
Support the full event management process from large-scale industry galas for up to 1000 attendees to smaller consumer-focused events.
Manage relationships with clients and sponsors.
Coordinate with suppliers and venues.
Oversee ticket sales and manage event budgets.
Collaborate with editorial teams to create branding and event assets.
Provide regular updates on event progress to both editorial and commercial teams.
Contribute to the evolution of the event portfolio by staying current with industry trends and identifying relevant opportunities for the brand.
Assist the editorial and commercial teams with media partnerships as directed by the Editorial and Commercial leads.
Ensure that all events meet high-quality standards while aligning with the department's brand guidelines, goals, and objectives.
Qualifications/Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree in event management or 6 years equivalent work experience in a related field.
At least 6 years of industry-related experience.
Previous experience working on consumer or B2B events at large scale.
Previous experience working on consumer or B2B events at small scale.
Previous experience managing suppliers.
Previous experience managing clients.
Industry knowledge of building and managing conferences, gala dinners, and experiential marketing.
Proven event planning and delivery experience.
Event management.
Project management.
Supplier management.
Budget management.
