Promote student involvement opportunities on campus through marketing, outreach, collaborative endeavors, and other publicity-driven initiatives.
Consult with supervisors and staff as needed.
Maintain contact with clients via telephone or written correspondence for University Events.
Represent the University in public relations/liaison capacity on matters relating to events and at Departmental meetings.
Maintain direct contact with personnel from various outside organizations and university departments associated with scheduled University events.
Facilitate event operations and respond to emergencies, problems, etc.; ensure all aspects of events are implemented and controlled according to plans.
Cooperate with other departments for official reports and data submission.
Interact with staff and students in a professional and ethical manner.
Participate in supervision and training with an openness to learning and receiving feedback.
Ensure that all student-related feedback is collected without delay and deadlines are communicated to students in a timely manner.
Submit reports as per requirements of the Organization.
Select Student Clubs & Committees and Chair of each Committee.
Follow policies & Procedures of the University.
Update the website.
Contribute to IE tools.

Pre-plan events as per defined process & formats for approval of HOD.
Coordinate budget with other departments.
Explore new avenues to increase revenues.
Report as per the standard format.
Perform any task initiated.
Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports.
Prepare Semester/Half-yearly/Yearly reports.
Other duties as deemed appropriate for this position.

Desired Candidate Profile
A Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university.
3 to 5 years of experience in the same field.
Professional or significant graduate school experience in coordinating or managing student activities or student organization services at a higher education institution. Some supervisory responsibility (of students) is preferred.
Verifiable experience in designing, coordinating, and evaluating educationally purposeful activities and leadership programs with relevant experience in event programming.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience advising student programs and implementing student organization support activities preferably at a major public university.
