About the Opportunity:

Our group of companies in Dubai is seeking a talented and experienced Events Coordinator | Events Planner to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, product launches, and employee engagement activities. Your role will be crucial in creating memorable experiences for our employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive event plans, including setting goals, defining target audiences, and creating event timelines.
  2. Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
  4. Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and transportation.
  5. Manage event registration, RSVPs, and attendee communications.
  6. Develop creative event concepts and themes to enhance the overall guest experience.
  7. Source and manage event vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  8. Evaluate event performance and collect feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event planning and management.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably within a corporate environment.
  2. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle last-minute changes with flexibility.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  6. Experience with event management software (preferred).
  7. A positive attitude, a team player, and a problem-solving mindset.
  8. Strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
