We are looking to hire an Event Coordinator who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events that align with our client's marketing and business objectives. This opportunity is with our client based in Abu Dhabi, which is one of the largest semi-government entities in the region.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable based on performance and project requirements.
The role sits within the Marketing and Communications Economic Cities & Free Zones (EC&FZ) division and reports directly to the Manager Events.
We are looking for a passionate Events Coordinator who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at both the creative and logistical aspects of event management. You should also have experience in coordinating event logistics, managing budgets, and developing marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of event concepts and timelines, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Research and evaluate potential venues, vendors, and partners to secure high-quality services at competitive rates.
- Oversee event logistics, including booking venues, coordinating catering, and ensuring technical and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline planning and execution.
- Assist in monitoring event budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities to optimize costs.
- Lead on-site coordination during events, ensuring seamless execution and resolving any challenges promptly.
- Maintain detailed pre- and post-event documentation, providing insights for future improvement.
- Contribute to promotional efforts by creating and managing event marketing materials and attendee communications.
- Facilitate post-event feedback collection and provide recommendations for enhancing future events.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and bring fresh ideas to the table to improve event experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in business, marketing, or communications.
- 3 years of experience in events marketing and communications roles.
- Proven track record of delivering events, especially in a B2B setting.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Strong project management, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of developing marketing strategies and using market research.

Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or within 30 days of offer acceptance.
